  • Weekend Bullets

    • The end of a relaxing Sunday... Lisa has been with us all weekend. 

    • We got lots of cleaning done yesterday (after karate and shooting in the a.m.) and capped it off with some uproarious game time. 
    • I did not win at Apples to Apples.  (Shoulda.)  But it was fun anyway!
    • The three older girls went to a youth gathering at church this evening.  Worship, followed by coffee and a guest speaker.
    • I have some veggies keeping warm on the stove to serve the rest of us when Paul returns from taking them over to church.  Sometimes, you just want veggies, you know?
    • He is taking a long time to return.  I think he must have gone visiting in the neighborhood on the way back...
    • Jacob and Geneva are watching "Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire".
    • Enjoying my beautiful kitchen. a rather lot.  What I like most is sitting in the living room and looking through the house, seeing all the colors juxtaposed.  I'm pretty psyched to get the office done now!
    • Had an uplifting phone conversation with my exuberant and vivacious friend -- who is also my one friend who doesn't have internet... she called to pass the time while she was following her husband at 10mph down the highway with her blinkers on while he drove a tractor to their friend's house.  I hope she gets internet soon, but the phone calls on the fly must continue... we both need the laughs!
    • Paul is home, the toast just beeped, and it is supper time.  Have a blessed evening!
