Simple Woman's Daybook - June 29th
Outside my window........
the AZ world is working itself into another 110ish kind of day.I am thinking...........
that the weather will undoubtedly suit me better at 5900 feet when we get to the ranch Wednesday evening. From the schoolroom...........
I wish sometimes that I could get one of those machines from "Primer" -- there aren't enough me's to go around. I really can't imagine how a teacher in a school room of 30 students all day can accomplish education for every one of those students.I am thankful for...........
a good weekend with Lisa at our house. From the kitchen.............
I think I'll slow cook some chicken breasts to go with rice and veggies for supper -- something simple the girls can prepare while I'm off at karate-ville with the boy.I am wearing.............
the uniform of my life -- twill pants and a polo that are several sizes too large. One of these days I will be small enough to buy clothes I don't hate.
When I do, be sure, you will hear about it!I am reading have on order...........
I am hoping........
not to waste too much time today.I am creating...........
nearly done with the Scrap-ghan -I am praying...........
for Susan, who was admitted to the hospital yesterday morning. Unsure how long she will be kept, but I'll keep you posted. Paul will be over to visit her after work.Around the house...........
things are looking lived-in, but basically tidy, thanks to lots of helping hands this weekend. A good way to start the week. I should be able to run the vacuum some time today -- had to put it off because I was out of belts for my Kirby. The girls swept the carpets with the broom Saturday and that worked remarkably well. One of my favorite things.......

I know -- totally random, right?
A few plans for the rest of the week........
- get laundry washed and prepared for our 5 day ranch trip
- do a little school today and tomorrow
- karate today
- no church tomorrow night - that will help with
- packing for the trip tomorrow night and Wednesday morning so we can
- leave right after Paul gets done with work around 1pm
- get to the ranch and unpack
- relax!
- shoot!
- walk!
- go to Lyman Lake for the 4th of July fireworks display
- relax!
- shoot!
- walk!
- clean the cabin

- come home Monday morning early.

My girls, all ready for church on Sunday. Lisa wears a dress only once every ... year, maybe? So this was a day worthy of note.

Hey! Neat picture of the girls! Tell Lisa I loved her outfit! Of course, your 3 look good, as always...What did Lisa and the church folk say re Megan's new hair do????
@MelodiousMama - Didn't really get many comments this week, since the initial shock was after the haircut I gave her, and this is only a wee bit shorter. It's hard to disapprove when she looks cute in any length hair!
So glad you'll get a chance to beat the heat up at the ranch for a few days! Enjoy every minute of it!
