One of my favorite parts of the drive to the ranch is
Salt River Canyon.
Ever since we have been driving this route,
which would be about 6 years now,
I have been begging my honey
to stop at the scenic
overlooks
so I
can
take some really grand pictures of this amazing place!
So far, he has refused
on the grounds that
"We have to get to the ranch!"
Therefore,
you are going to experience the drive
through my side window,
complete with tippy angles and
guard rails.
Enjoy!The Gap
is the signal that we're done with the canyon.
I will just note here for the record
(and you can all be my witnesses)
that Paul has promised to make all the stops my heart desires on our July 4th trip and let me have my photographic fun.
Woohoo!!

Yeah don't make me bust out my wonderful book of quotes and find all the ones about 'stop and smell the roses' and enjoying the journey type things! *Don't make me bust out my quotes!!!!!!*
And you take thee most fabulous pictures! All of mine from the car window look like the Roadrunner took them! *beep beep*
@spinner_mom - Lol -- believe me, there are plenty of blurs and "why did I take that?" pics I culled out!
*Doh!* Accidentally double-posted this. Argh! The FB interface is a
little sticky sometimes! Oh well. I will leave them both up since
there are comments on both.
@nettieheidmann - Good
thing you take *lots and lots* of pictures then! I should take a bunch
of good ol flatter than flat Florida! That way you would see why the
rest of us enjoy your pic's so much!
